Spa Theory Launches Body Wraps
Be prepared to be cocooned in a body-hydrating and detoxifying Spa Theory Body Wrap. Body wraps are a spa treatment designed to enhance the appearance and health of the skin. With the ability to condition and detoxify, body wraps are a favorite of spa-insiders as a standalone treatment or as part of an enhanced massage.
Get to Know the Spa Theory Body Wrap
Your Spa Theory Body Wrap begins with a full-body dry brushing to energize the lymphatic system and prepare it for the detoxifying Body wrap. Dry brushing helps to stimulate circulation, improve lymphatic drainage, and remove toxins out of the tissue so skin looks smoother.
After the dry brushing, your Spa Theory Provider will begin applying the hydrating body cream from head to toe. After which, you will be wrapped in a foil cocoon and covered in a blanket to let the cream work its magic helping you achieve smoother, fresher, tighter skin. It’s also great for tight, sore muscles as the body warms while in the cocoon.
While in the cocoon your Provider will spend time providing a scalp massage and foot reflexology. Of course, with all Spa Theory spa treatments – let your provider know of any personal requests such as claustrophobia and you wish to keep your arms out of the cocoon, or that you’d prefer only having foot reflexology and not the scalp massage.
As a final step in the body wrap treatment your Provider will unwrap you from the foil and you’ll be treated to a gentle 10-minute massage to work in the cream and further assist in lymphatic drainage. As with all Spa Theory massages you will always be modestly covered with a massage sheet. And should you wish to extend your massage you have the option at booking to add on 30- or 60-minutes additional massage time.
Body Wraps
Body wraps are designed to improve the texture and appearance of the skin by helping to rid the body of excess fluids and toxins. That’s also why it’s so important to drink plenty of water after your Spa Theory Body Wrap.
